Our very own Brian Flook has just returned from a special trip to the North Pole, where he had some time to catch up with his old friend Santa Claus. Another award to add to our wall! Amanda Linthicum (L-R), Krista Scarlett and Johanne Courtright worked on the Advantage Homes website, which received Honorable Mention.
Great news! Our team recently received Honorable Mention for Advantage Homes’ website design in NAHB’s 2014 Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Home Design. The annual awards acknowledge manufacturers, home builders and builder marketing companies in categories of exceptional home design and marketing materials.
Earlier this year, we created the cohesive new web platform for our long-time client that offers improved navigation, functionality and sharing options for website users. It also allows website edits to update directly to kiosks in Advantage sales centers. The new website offers interested homebuyers a full-service, online experience when searching for a new home. You can learn more about Advantage’s new website and our

Our long-time client, Advantage Homes, wanted an updated Maryland website design that was easy to update and manage, cleaner and used newer technology. The new website we designed offers improved navigation, functionality and sharing options.
With the end user experience in mind, we created a real estate website design that makes finding the perfect home much easier. The site now features a Floor Plan Search where users can browse Advantage’s homes by features like location, price range, number of rooms and more. Similar to the search options on sites like homes.com, this helps narrow down the search to homes that are feasible and affordable.
With the View Specifications section in each community, users can browse and select specific features and design center options to build their décor, color scheme and finishing touches. From exteriors, lighting and flooring options, to plumbing, countertops, appliances and more, this section features photos and product descriptions that inspire homebuyers to create a beautiful design style that is uniquely their own.
The View Area Amenities tab allows users to scope out nearby schools, restaurants, stores and more located near an Advantage community. The View Site Plan tab features a detailed map of each lot’s location within a community. Advantage Homes can easily and frequently update lot availability. Users can check the status here and view a specific lot’s proximity to community amenities including parks, pools, walking trails and scenic views.
Social media plugins are now featured in each community section. Homebuyers can easily share a model with friends and family via Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
Here’s what the real estate website design looked like before…

… and here’s what it looks like now.

What do you think of our Maryland website design?

A new year often symbolizes down time for business, but not for us! Our power web design md and internet marketing md team has been working full steam on a number of exciting projects for our clients. Here’s a glimpse at some of the projects we’ve completed recently:
Thompson Services

We redesigned the Thompson Services website to better reflect the propane dealer’s HVAC services. The new Maryland website design and copy reiterate that Thompson Services can take care of all of their clients’ heating and cooling needs.
Glessner Technologies

Glessner Technologies came to us wanting a new brand identity logo that better reflectedtheir recent acquisitions (IT solutions/telecommunications services). The new design, created by Web Designer Trent Semler, feels more tech-savvy and includes the company’s new services.
ThompsonGas

Our graphic design MD team and communications specialist worked seamlessly to create this sponsorship brochure for Meritus Health’s “Evening of Red Wine and Dark Chocolate.” The single-page handout features details about the event’s wineglass sponsor — our client ThompsonGas and Big Cork Vineyards—and was given to patrons at the cardiac health event.
