When most people think of Goodwill, their storefronts and donations quickly come to mind. But, the magnitude of Goodwill’s services is far greater than just that. Goodwill assists people with barriers to employment with training, skills and experience to find and keep a job. Revenue made through their storefronts and donations help power vocational programs for people who use their services, building pride, self-confidence and self-satisfaction that comes with earning a paycheck.
Serving the QuadState region, Horizon Goodwill Industries contacted our web design in Hagerstown team wanting a website that showcased the many ways Goodwill betters their communities. They wanted to make their business solutions, like commercial cleaning and supply chain services, more prominent on the site, and make it easier for people to find their 15+ locations.
Our team created an online application for employment to ease the process of applying for jobs, plus a section that details how to get training to apply for jobs. We built a custom careers section, which makes it super easy for Goodwill to update job listings each week as they’re available.
Thanks to our web development, we made it easy for Goodwill to grow their email list and encourage subscribers for weekly newsletters. Rotating home page images allow Goodwill to spotlight promotions, like the Beyoncé concert ticket giveaway. A mobile version of the site is available for browsing from a smart phone.
