Our very own Brian Flook has just returned from a special trip to the North Pole, where he had some time to catch up with his old friend Santa Claus. The Big Guy shared so much valuable insight, Brian asked if we could publish the transcripts in this week’s Power Marketing blog. With a hearty “Ho, Ho, Ho!” Santa happily agreed. So here it is, an official Power Marketing Exclusive…..
A Few Minutes With Santa Clause
Brian
Hey, Santa! Thanks for making some time to see me today! I was just in the area on business and thought it would be a good time to catch up. How are you doing?
Santa
Busy as always! I’m so happy you decided to stop by! Mrs. Claus and I haven’t seen you since last summer. Still practicing that guitar I gave you last Christmas?
Brian
Oh, you know it, thank you by the way. So I see the elves are keeping busy.
Santa
They’re great workers, yes, but I’m afraid they’re getting a bit burned out. I was thinking of doing something special for them after the New Year, maybe a group event to help keep them motivated during the summer months.
Brian
I’ve got just the ticket! Are you familiar with Julie Gaver? She’s an amazing speaker specializing in promoting teamwork and workplace relationships. The Power Marketing team just created a brand new site for her, you should check it out!
Santa
Oh, I’m familiar with Mrs. Julie, she’s always on my Nice List. That sounds like a great idea, thanks Brian. That will free up some of my time to address some other concerns we have around here.
Brian
Such as?
Santa
Well, I don’t want to trouble you with all of our issues here in the North Pole, but it’s getting very difficult for these old hands to write responses to all the children that email me letters. In fact, it’s almost a good thing that the Easter Bunny has taken some interest away from what we do up here.
Brian
Santa, you mean your losing some of the children’s enthusiasm to Peter Cottontail?
Santa
Yes…but I’m a good sport about it. It’s very hard to keep up with the little boys and girls that do write me all year long.
Brian
What if I told you we could set you up with our new marketing automation service, Easy LeadLocker? You would be able to quickly and easily correspond with all the boys and girls, helping them get exactly what they want each year. You would certainly get a leg up on your competition, that’s for sure!
Santa
That sounds quite impressive! Let me guess, I need to speak to little Scott Stroud to get this all set up?
Brian
He’s the guy! Is there anything else I can help you out with?
Santa
Ho, Ho, Ho! You already have! Remember last year when I told you I would need to invest in a larger box for my sleigh to carry all the gifts this year?
Brian
Of course I do! Did you take my advice?
Santa
Oh, I certainly did! Bobby at Truck-Tool-Box.com made me an incredible, customized storage container! It even comes with multiple locks to ensure all the toys are safe.
Brian
Santa, this is the North Pole, do you really need locks for your sleigh box?
Santa
Brian, you should know, you can never be too safe! In fact, Mrs. Claus is looking into installing a security system in the workshop….just in case!
Brian
Is that right? If you’re really serious about protecting your family you should speak with Taylor at ADS Datacom. She can explain all the great security solutions currently available. Great rates and first class service, too!
At this point, Santa’s receives a text message on his cell phone.
Santa
Excuse me, Brian, it’s Blitzen. Apparently we’re ready to load up the sleigh. I’m afraid we’re going to have to continue this conversation after Christmas.
Brian
I completely understand! If there’s ever anything I can do for you, don’t hesitate to call!
Santa
You can count on it! Oh, and Brian, one more thing….when you get home can you ask Shannon to leave me a few more of her homemade sugar cookies this year? Last time around Donner got to them before I did and ate them all!
Brian
No problem, Santa! Nice seeing you again!
