Don’t Let the Wave of Social Media Marketing Pass Your Business By. Learn How to Use Facebook to Expand Your Online Reach and Build Your Brand.
With more than 1.23 million users, it’s hard to ignore the social networking powerhouse that is Facebook. The big guy in red sent Stacy the Elf to Hagerstown to make sure our team was on our best behavior this Christmas. Our staff had a blast putting Stacy the Elf to work, teaching her about brand strategy and marketing services to improve the North Pole’s Internet success. Check out these behind-the-scenes photos of how our team turned a creative idea into an online success.

“How does my hair look, you guys?”
Matt, photographer and designer extraordinaire, takes a few shots in the front lobby of Power Marketing & Coldwell Banker Innovations. The white wall in the background made it easier for Stacy to be “cut out” and “shrinked” in Photoshop.
Strike a pose!
“She’s an angry elf. She must be from the South Pole.”
“You want me to do what? Let me write this down!”
“SANTA?!!! I KNOW HIM!!!!”
Only a few more shots left. How do you feel about that, Stacy the Elf?
From photo to Photoshop, here are a few screenshots of how Matt transformed Stacy Miller into Stacy the Elf throughout our office.

What’s one of the best feelings in the world, you ask? Checking your email first thing on a Thursday morning and reading a raving review from one of your long-time clients. We were delighted to receive this praise from Rick Centra of Advantage Homes on a fall campaign we recently created for the Brunswick Crossing community (click here to read about it). Here’s what he had to say about our builder marketing services:
“I have read and evaluated the [results report from the campaign] and all I can say is THANKS! You guys are simply the best of the best, and I appreciate everything that Power Marketing has done to help our company. Words like awesome, outstanding, incredible, excellence, devoted, passionate and professional best describe your fine company.”
Rick Centra (L) and Jim McCormack of Advantage Homes
Thanks for the kind words, Rick! And, here’s to many, many more years of builder marketing success.
Our client, Maryland winery Big Cork Vineyards, wanted a holiday-inspired ad to spread word about a special discount they’re offering: free online shipping through Dec. 15. The ad currently is running in the Frederick-News Post‘s print and online editions. The goal was to feature the offer while creating an eye-catching design that lets readers know the offer is a limited-time, holiday-only special.
Lead Designer Amanda Linthicum chose a red, green and black color palette to agree with the holiday theme. She created the lightbulbs by hand in PhotoShop. The headline copy is catchy, attention-grabbing and holiday inspired. The copy explains why Big Cork’s award-winning wines are the perfect addition for any holiday meal.
